Fibre Arts Retreat

English Paper Piecing is a hand-stitching technique where small pieces of fabric are wrapped around a paper template, secured with a few stitches, and then stitched together to be used as part of a quilt, as a mending patch on clothes, or to add some adornment to clothing, bags, or whatever you can dream up. Please bring new or upcycled fabric to use. Other supplies will be provided.

Wet felting is the process of creating a dense fabric with wool with the help of warm, soapy water and lots of agitation. Learn the basics and create a trivet or rectangle of felt for use in a wide range of crafts. All materials provided.
