Artist Residency Open Call

The Harvest Moon Artist Residency has grown over the past few years from a fortunate happenstance to a trial run to a multi-streamed interdisciplinary program welcoming artists from near and far. Partnerships with United Community Arts in Pilot Mound and the School of Art at the University of Manitoba in addition to the Harvest Moon Festival have helped the program expand its reach and begin to attract some interest. So it’s time for an Open Call.

If you would like to come make art in the beautiful Pembina Valley of southwestern Manitoba, applications are being accepted until January 15, 2026. Send us your artist bio & statement along with a project proposal that addresses why coming to Clearwater would be important at the stage in your practice. A variety of spots are available in different seasons and with flexible lengths, so let us know when you’d be interested in coming.
