Four principles that matter

Attendees learn about four principles behind resilient and regenerative natural systems. These principles are directives for designing gardens, properties, businesses and projects, that function with no unnecessary inputs of energy, time or money. When you learn these principles, you’ll quickly see that they can be applied to every facet of your life, leading to lasting and regenerative relationships, businesses, gardens, homes and much more.

Fun, hands-on learning

We offer hands-on activities to develop the principles after you’ve learned them, including detailed coursework on the methods of permaculture design. These methods will make you see your property, house and watershed in a new way, and will get you started in applying the design principles correctly for positive effect. The activities associated with the design methods allow you to practice them and ask questions to learn them thoroughly.

Then we break the class into ‘design teams’ where we give you real-life projects/situations, and each group is required to produce a design from start to finish using all the methods and principles learned.

You will be able to:

  • Design a regenerative garden.
  • Make choices that will potentially save you thousand of dollars in property design.
  • Build the best soil on the block!
  • Develop an understanding on how you can save yourself much time and energy using simple design principles that can be applied anywhere by anyone.
  • Reap the benefits of holistic design thinking.
  • Make the most positive decisions possible to help yourself and others.

And you will learn about permaculture…
