Trail

This trail explores the lessons learned from living on the land, and showcases the beautiful Cypress Creek Valley that surrounds the town of Clearwater (map).

Take some time one weekend to explore the hiking trail.  It is a pleasant 2.3-kilometre (1.4-mile) walk down the hill, along the creek, through the forest, up along the rim of the valley, across the ball diamonds and back to the parking area. It takes about one hour at a leisurely pace and there are benches at each stop.

The trail is a component of the Harvest Moon Society’s Learning Center, and is intended to teach visitors and local resident about the rural history and changes on the land in the past 150 years.
