New Moon Kids Camp

The New Moon Kids Camp is an all-day camp for kids ages 8-11, held at the Harvest Moon Centre in Clearwater, Manitoba. The 2012 Kids Camp will run for 3 days, August 10, 11 and 12.
Registration for New Moon Kids Camp is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, announced well in advance of the camp.
Cost per child is $125 for all 3 days, additional child at $95 (includes 3 lunches, 3 snacks and one dinner). Contact us today, as spaces are limited!
Camp Programming will be based around themes of local food and agriculture, the natural environment and sustainable living, and rural communities. Activities will include active outdoor games, hands-on science experiments, educational simulation games, creative arts & crafts, food preparation and more! We aim to keep the campers constantly engaged in educational fun and games for the whole three days!
As last year, the Kids Camp experience will be enhanced by the involvement of the Homegrown Leaders youth program in planning and facilitation of camp activities. The camp gives these rural youth (aged 15-18) an opportunity to develop their leadership skills, while acting as role models for younger children.
For information or to receive a registration form, contact Camp Coordinator Michelle Schram at youtheducator@harvestmoonsociety.org
