Programs

The Harvest Moon Society runs a variety of programs, all stemming from its mandate to build healthy communities. By inspiring and facilitating programs designed for different (and combined) age groups, interest groups and other demographics, the HMS seeks to create opportunities for meaningful involvement and experiences throughout the year.

Some HMS programs include:

• Learning About, In & For the Environment in-class and field-trip educational programs
• Homegrown Leaders, engaging youth as leaders in their rural communities
• Eco-Challenge activity days for school-age youth
• New Moon Kids Camp all-day camp for kids ages 8-11
• Harvest Moon Local Food Initiative
• InFARMation (and Beer!) urban outreach events
