Biography

I have had the most fortunate privilege of working with several non profit organizations acquiring experience in planning, creating, and facilitating programs for youth. One of my most memorable work experiences was with Ghost River Rediscovery, as a team leader/program assistant for a 6 month Youth Leadership Program. Working in the field for this Youth Leadership involved sleeping in a tipi for 3 months, falling asleep to the sounds of a crackling fire. The other 3 months were spent sleeping under a benab (traditional thatched roof hut) in Guyana, South America.

Working with Ghost River Rediscovery has led to many other adventures, such as facilitating a youth exchange for young people living in Calgary, AB and Kuglutuk, Nunavut.

I studied at the University of Winnipeg and completed an undergraduate degree in Politics and International Development Studies.
