On-Farm Internships. Practical, hands-on training on local rural and urban farms. Experienced mentors who were involved with the Manitoba Farm Mentorship program continue to offer their knowledge to aspiring farmers.
Sustainable Agriculture Workshops are offered periodically, in cooperation with members of the Harvest Moon Local Food Initiative.
Permaculture Design Certificate Course. Permaculture describes a design system for creating human settlements that function in harmony with nature while meeting local needs with abundance.
Prairie Culture, a series of workshops and projects that apply permaculture theory and practices to the prairies in a meaningful way.
Sustainable Agriculture Incubation Program, an initiative that allows new and young farmers who are interested in starting their own sustainable farm enterprise to learn at our on-site incubator farm in Clearwater, MB.
Living Rural Communities and Environments, a two-week University of Manitoba accredited course in which students visit farms and explore the relationships between farm operations, rural culture, and the environment.
